El Centro College Associate Degree Nursing Program at Methodist Health System

Interested in an Associate Degree of Nursing? If you have the will, we have the way — and we pay for it. In partnership with El Centro College in Dallas, Texas, Methodist Health System offers the two-year nursing program on the campus of Methodist Dallas Medical Center. In return, students sign an agreement that they’ll remain with Methodist for three years while they complete an RN-BSN. Meet our 2017 fall graduation class, ready to start caring for patients.

How does it work?

You’ll attend lectures via teleconference from a classroom at Methodist Dallas. You’ll also complete your clinical and skills labs on the Dallas campus under the guidance of Methodist’s nursing education and professional development instructors.

Who can apply?

We believe in growing our own nurses so you’re eligible to apply for the Associate Degree in Nursing if you are an employee of Methodist Health System, a family member of an employee, or a volunteer. You also must meet the minimum requirements of the El Centro Nursing Program.

What do graduates say?

“The program was fantastic. It allowed me to get my RN with the support of two organizations — Methodist and El Centro. I was able to attend classes via Skype as well as complete my clinicals and labs on the Methodist Dallas campus. By agreeing to stay at Methodist for three years, I was reimbursed for tuition and books. I’m thankful that Methodist’s leadership helps employees advance in their careers.”
