Methodist Selects Flynn as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer


Methodist Health System is pleased to announce the addition of Cheryl Flynn, SPHR, as senior vice president and chief human resources officer.  Flynn began her new role with Methodist August 12. “Cheryl brings a wealth of experience and talent to our team,” says Methodist President and CEO Stephen L. Mansfield, PhD, FACHE.  “She has an established career track record for innovation, accountability for results, effectively managing employees, and collaboration with stakeholders.  We are excited to have someone of Cheryl’s professional caliber joining our team.”

Before joining Methodist, Flynn served as chief human resources officer for NCH Corporation in Irving, a global company with 8,500 employees in 52 countries. Prior to NCH, she spent the majority of her career with LSG Sky Chefs in a variety of progressively more responsible roles, concluding with senior vice president of human resources for the Americas region during which she oversaw all human resources activities for more than 90 locations in North and South America.

As senior vice president, Flynn will oversee human resource functions for  Methodist Health System which includes employee engagement, employee relations, and establishing talent management strategies to support organizational growth.
