Methodist Dallas Medical Center
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to practice nursing in a different specialty? Some nurses latch onto a specialty that becomes their lifetime mission. Others want to take on a new challenge in a new area. Which are you?
Ready for something new?
If you’re an experienced registered nurse looking to spread your wings and grow, a fellowship will take you there. We’ve got just what you want at Methodist Dallas Medical Center and offer fellowships in these areas:
- Emergency department
- Intensive care unit
- Neuro critical care
- Operating room
- Gastrointestinal lab
- Adult medical-surgical
- Neonatal intensive care
- Labor and delivery
- Post-anesthesia care unit
As you can see, there are a lot of choices. But the one thing they all have in common is that they take place at a renowned teaching hospital and the flagship of Methodist Health System.
The fellowship offers hands-on learning experience by taking what you already know to expand and apply that knowledge in a new specialty. Our fellowship programs are 12 to 16 weeks of one-to-one precepted time, offering a personalized learning experience. The fellowship is designed to incrementally progress your skills through competency-based learning at a customized pace to suit your needs. Expect to elevate the profession of nursing by collaborating with team members through evidence-based practices.
